- This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Consultant Anaesthetist to join a growing team.
- You will provide high-quality specialist care anaesthetic and related care to patients across two hospitals servicing the region
- Consultants provide anaesthesia, analgesia, peri-operative and related services for and participate in an after-hours on-call roster
- You will also provide outpatient consultations, pre-operative assessments, ward consultations and other related anaesthetic services.
- There will be the opportunity to initiate and participate in research and evaluations aimed at achieving demonstrable improvements and service outcomes.
- Consultants actively participate in departmental quality assurance activities, including as morbidity & mortality reviews, audits and clinical case and significant incident review processes.
- You will provide supervision, training and training of anaesthetic registrars, junior medical staff and other health care team members as required
- Salary package to $461256 pa
- If you are relocating interstate or internationally you may be eligible to receive up to $20,000 incentive payments
