In this role will see you identify hazards and assesses risks to health and safety, recommend appropriate safety controls to the construction team and provides advice on incident prevention and occupational health to management and employees.Responsibilities:Implement Occupational Health and Safety strategies, systems and initiativesEnsure the Project is compliant with the requirements of the relevant legislation, Codes of Practice and Australian StandardsDevelop and maintain a base SWMS register and support Project staff in reviewing and updating Project SWMS;Coordinate and maintain inspection registers, audits schedules, and compliance registers;Required Skills and CompetenciesMinimum of 3 years experience as a Safety Advisor in a project based environment ideally in Civil InfrastructureCertificate IV in Occupational Health and SafetyIncident Investigation (ICAM/Root Cause or equivalent)ACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022 & 2023 certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
