- Develop age-appropriate and engaging curriculum plans that align the Victorian Curriculum for Secondary levels.
- Deliver effective and interactive Hindi language instruction, focusing on vocabulary, pronunciation, and language structures.
- Introduce aspects of Indian culture into lessons through age-appropriate activities, stories, and projects to foster cultural awareness.
- Design assessments to evaluate their language acquisition and provide constructive feedback to students
- Collaborate with other teachers and departments to integrate Hindi language and culture into broader educational themes and projects.
- Stay informed about developments in language education, attend workshops, and engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and methodologies.
- Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Must have VIT registration
- Previous experience in teaching Hindi LOTE, experience in Australia advantageous
- Ability to build and lead this brand new LOTE program
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).

- Commence this term (Term 1) with a full-time, permanent position available
- Working with multiple classes with students from years 7-9.
- Receive a salary commensurate with your demonstrated expertise and experience
- Approximately 2400 students ranging from Foundation to Year 9
