- Design and deploy landing zones to facilitate the smooth deployment of internal workloads, leveraging automation and infrastructure as code principles.
- Oversee the technology lifecycle, maintaining standards for operating systems and tooling to ensure their continual relevance and effectiveness.
- Uphold high platform availability for seamless 24/7 business support through proactive monitoring and management.
- Collaborate with Architecture teams to establish and enforce security and service control policies, providing necessary guardrails for development teams to operate with agility.
- Guarantee adherence to security and risk compliance standards outlined by the Tabcorp Technology Security group for all services.
- Mitigate operational risks by delivering cloud services securely, safeguarding Tabcorp, customers, and suppliers from potential threats, and ensuring compliance with IT security policies, processes, and risk controls.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in AWS infrastructure management.
- At least 2 years of proven track record in IT operational roles, handling intricate enterprise environments.
- Development background in any capacity.
- Exceptional communication abilities, demonstrated through successful relationship-building with both business and technology stakeholders.
- AWS Certification is a must.
- Proficiency in Python programming language.
- Familiarity with cloud management and automation tools like CDK and Terraform.
- Exposure to configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, and Ansible.
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing DevOps practices and embracing agile methodologies.
