- Provide technical troubleshooting and assistance to maintenance staff for resolving power system-related issues.
- Conduct design reviews and provide comments for capital projects throughout the project cycle, including design basis scoping paper, project proposals, and detailed design packages.
- Perform site activities such as field engineering, pre-commissioning support, commissioning, and startup.
- Offer technical support for all field power systems at EWPD facilities and maintain ETAP models for all plants.
- Prepare conceptual design packages and engineering budgetary cost estimates.
- Develop and review power system designs for new projects and extensions to existing systems.
- Review installation, site commissioning, and factory acceptance testing for low and high voltage transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and control gear.
- Analyze components, design parameters, installation, operation, and maintenance requirements of UPS, DC, and battery systems.
- Advise on calculation study results and lead implementation of recommendations, optimizing conceptual power system design based on system studies.
- Resolve issues with power monitoring system (PMS) software.
- Provide project specifications and demonstrate operations and maintenance requirements for transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and control gear.
- Evaluate the economics of cost and operation when selecting equipment.
- Willingness to relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Possess certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the Power field or equivalent.
- Be certified as NACE CP (minimum CP level-II).
- Hold certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Have a minimum of 13 years of experience, preferably in the oil industry or a similar process industry.
