Mater Private Hospital Bundaberg's perioperative services comprise four operating complexes, four recovery bays, central sterilising and a dedicated Day Surgery Unit. The Theatre Complex provides pre- and post-operative recovery room care and specialised endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures. The surgical case mix includes dental, endoscopy, ENT, general surgery, gynaecology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics and urology.Salary Range: $40.27 - $51.74 (RN1) per hour plus superannuation (plus 25% casual loading if applicable) and access to generous salary packaging of up to $15900 p.a.What you'll be doingRegistered Nurses provide evidence-based and contemporary patient-centred clinical care in collaboration with other multidisciplinary healthcare team members. The delivery of care extends to patient advocacy with particular consideration to patients' physical, emotional and spiritual needs that contribute to optimal clinical outcomes.Registered Nurses are responsible for ensuring safe and efficient care management within the scope of practice and professional guidelines. Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with no practice restrictions
Digital and computer proficiency, extending to Microsoft 365 applications
Minimum of one-year post-graduate perioperative or Day Surgery experience. However, if you have limited perioperative experience but have transferrable skills, training is available
Australian Citizenship, permanent residency, a current work Visa with no restrictions or an applicable ANMAC occupational code if seeking Visa sponsorship
