Situated in Sale, Central Gippsland, Victoria, the award-winning Criterion Hotel Sale is a multi-faceted hospitality business with 16 boutique-style accommodation rooms, a bistro with lunch and dinner service seven days a week, several event spaces, and numerous offsite functions.PositionThe Restaurant Manager will work closely with the hotel owners and will be mainly responsible for the day-to-day running of the restaurant. This will include but not limited to staff recruitment training, purchasing, and marketing of the Hotel.The Restaurant Manager will receive an attractive remuneration, aligned with industry standards plus penalties. There is potential for a visa sponsorship, if it is proven that you suit the position well.Success criteriaMinimum 3?years' experience in a similar roleMinimum qualification equivalent to an Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in hospitality (e.g., hospitality management, hotel management, etc.)A genuine passion for professional growth within the hospitality industryEnthusiastic, patient, honest, optimist and works with integrityDetermined to provide exceptional customer satisfactionExceptionall food & beverage knowledgeCan orchestrate functions and events from enquiry through to pack downCapable of managing across multiple outlets simultaneouslyHiring of F.O.H. staff , along with a desire to train and develop young staffStrong?communication & computer skills including, P.O.S. systems, Office 365 & CanvaAbility to build and mentor a teamIf this sounds like you, we want to get to know you more!
