About the roleThe Bloomfield Group is seeking to appoint a Components Superintendent to join our Asset Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating Heavy Mining Equipment (HME) component overhaul / repair programs and will play a critical role in setting and communicating the standard required for The Bloomfield Group’s component overhaul / repairs.This role will work with OEM’s and other suppliers to facilitate component parts forecasting, define standards and manage the overhaul of HME components to meet needs across the group.You will undertake costing reviews, data analysis and component analysis to drive low cost / hour solutions and critical decisions. This role will provide leadership to the Components Team and broader business. It will provide technical support and coaching by sharing industry knowledge of best practice to help maintain the overall service delivery to our internal customers.The successful candidate will have substantial engineering/maintenance experience working within a heavy engineering environment, hold qualifications in Mechanical engineering or equivalent as well as be able to proficiently navigate maintenance planning software. Working to budgets expectations are essential as well as providing informed solutions to support the decision making process. You will think outside the box, be solution driven, be passionate about providing positive leadership to others and be able to communicate effectively to enable the achievement of team and group objectives.Benefits of working with us
