IT Support Engineer, (L1) End User - (Corporate/Family Office) – DubaiWorking for our client in a (Family Office) environment, you will be hands-on with day-to-day operations working as a 1st line support engineer in End-User to support the family office.
Purpose
  • Serve as the primary contact for all IT related queries
  • Working closely with our technology department
Your role involves providing technical support, ensuring the efficient operation of IT systems and infrastructure, and upholding the technological standards that our office relies on.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Promptly responding to IT support requests and efficiently resolving them.
  • Diagnosing and rectifying hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Configuring and setting up new IT equipment, including but not limited to computers, smartphones, and other tech devices.
  • Providing basic training and instructions to users on new systems and applications.
  • Conducting regular maintenance and updates to ensure secure and efficient system operations.
  • Monitoring IT systems for security or performance issues and addressing them accordingly.
  • Working closely with our technological department and coordinating with external IT vendors and service providers as required.
  • Documenting IT processes, support queries, and their resolutions.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest technological advancements and IT best practices.
  • Ensuring adherence to IT policies and data protection laws.
  • Help the clients of the company with any specific IT related needs such as maintaining a secure and proper WIFI connection within the clients' house, maintenance of all apps and clients' accounts, ensuring a proper maintenance of all clients' devices.
  • Scout & assess which tech devices & accessories to buy for the company according to office needs
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in an IT support role, within a corporate or private office environment.
  • Strong familiarity with Windows computer systems, iOS mobile devices, and other tech products.
  • Experience with Windows Server is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills to address a range of IT issues.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours and availability for emergency oncall duties.
