- The Marketing Executive will develop and implement the Annual Retail Marketing Plan (including innovative tool development, corporate communication opportunities, range-specific communication, shopper activations, consumer events, promotional calendar, and budget development) in line with global/ regional strategies and guidelines.
- Manage, follow up, and analyze retail marketing activities defined by the annual marketing plan.
- Develop communication concepts for retail marketing activities (in line with international guidelines).
- Develop packaging concepts for promotional offers defined by the annual marketing plan (in line with international guidelines and regional specifications).
- Respond to daily and weekly requests from the Key Account Manager team.
- By briefing the agencies, develop corporate, range-specific, and promotional video animations for new wall units (in line with international guidelines and regional specifications).
- Ensure best-in-class POS appearance & brand presentation by respecting brand values, guidelines, and brand positioning.
- Attract shoppers by creating a unique and authentic experience with the brands through occasional activations (Increasing product attractiveness and brand likeability using innovative and creative ideas), events (organizing attractive tools for events to attract and recruit new consumers and increase brand awareness), and on-the-shelf communication using creative merchandising tools to increase engagement with the shoppers.
- The Marketing Manager will cooperate with the digital marketing team and develop and implement customer relationship management strategies to help build emotional relationships (Group management, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Staff, Consumers).
- Create PO for all activities according to internal rules and regulations.
- Constant follow-up of budget status.
- Ensure that the budget is respected and used efficiently.
- Work on budget reporting according to the line manager's briefing.
- Contact the finance team closely for project ROI calculations and ensure a positive ROI for each activity and project.
- Briefing & steering of agencies as well as suppliers.
- Develop marketing tools (e.g., floorstand, counterstand, booth, gondola, wall unit).
- Propose innovations (tools, shopper/pharmacy activations, and event tools).
- Support Affiliates for all retail marketing activities.
- Update status reports on activities on a weekly basis.
- UAE Nationality is a must.
- Working understanding of all business functions and key business processes.
- Effective communication skills to manage diverse relationships locally, regionally, and internationally.
- The ability to work autonomously and as a team member, with analytical and creative skills combined with an enthusiastic βcan doβ attitude, is required.
- Preparation of clear briefs with defined objectives.
- Records and shares learnings with the wider marketing team.
- Ability to think out of the box.
- Must be open-minded to any ideas.
