- Be responsible for providing and coordinating patient care, educating
advice and emotional support to patients and their family members.
- Assess and identify patients' needs and implement and monitor the
physicians and other health care specialists or allied health in various
settings
- Perform systematic patient assessment and collect pertinent data about
- Understand and analyze the assessment information and data
- Determine actual and potential nursing diagnoses, problems, and issues
- Define the predicted and expected outcomes of the patient's planned
- Create and evaluate patient care plans with the medical team
- Record vital signs, recognize and address abnormalities

- Demonstrates competency in triaging patients of all ages including
symptoms, as well as a detailed patient history and determine

- Demonstrate knowledge in care of patients on mechanical ventilator.

hospital policy.
- Participate in care and maintenance of infusion pump, syringe pump,
ventilators ensuring an agreed standard of decontamination at all times
including accurate records of traceability of all equipment.
- Demonstrates vigilance in identifying patients with communicable
patients
- Ensures that all the HAAD notifications to be done from Emergency
OSHAD:
- Comply with all OSH and infection control policies, standards and
those requirements.
- Work accordance with the documented OSH procedures and
- Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures.
- Notifying OSH Hazards, incidents, Near misses and issues and
- Comply with Waste management procedures and policies.
- Attend applicable OSH/Infection control training programs, mock drills
Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems.Qualifications:
- Have an appropriate license to work as a nurse in the relevant regulatory
mandates.
- Manage their own professional revalidation
- Have basic life support qualification (within past 24 months)
- Have an active interest in the clinical field in which they are employed
- Be willing to work across departments when necessary
- Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and

- Evidenced experience/expertise in the clinical field in which they are
- Evidenced ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
