JOB Purpose:
The primary intent of this role is to serve as a pivotal point of contact for all HR-related matters on a daily basis. The Human Resources Specialist will act as a liaison between employees, external partners, and business leadership. This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including onboarding support, talent management, performance & rewards, and employee engagement initiatives.
Key Accountabilities:
- New Hire Onboarding:
- Facilitate a seamless onboarding process for new and existing candidates.
- Act as a Single Point of Contact for new joiner HR queries and onboarding matters.
- Coordinate and ensure the execution of the Induction Program per HR Policy.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Manage pre-employment screening, including background checks and documentation processing.
- Ensure timely collection and verification of all employee documentation.
- Draft, verify, and release welcome communications for new joiners.
- Maintain new joiner databases and personnel records, ensuring legal compliance.
- HR Operations:
- Prepare HR documents such as employment contracts and new hire guides.
- Liaise with external partners (e.g., insurance vendors) to ensure legal compliance.
- Provide all relevant employee information to the payroll department on a monthly basis.
- Leadership Support:
- Serve as a key point of contact for business leaders and employees.
- Support business with HR expertise in talent management, performance & rewards, and strategic employee engagement.
- Drive HR activities for the organization, including new initiatives, policies, and strategies.
- People Strategy and Development:
- Lead the implementation of engagement initiatives, town halls, and quarterly meetings.
- Work closely with business leaders on career planning and people development strategies.
- Support people strategy initiatives and provide development opportunities to build skills and knowledge.
- Employee Relations and Issue Resolution:
- Handle HR-related issues effectively within given timelines.
- Oversee seamless new hire onboarding for both new and existing candidates
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or relevant field.
- Master's degree in Business Administration majoring in Human Resources (for HR Specialist role).
- Proven work experience in HR administration or generalist roles.
- Experience with HR software (HRIS or HRMS), Microsoft Office applications.
- Thorough knowledge of UAE labour laws.
- 3-5 years minimum experience in UAE.
