BIM Coordinator (Civil 3D Specialist)

• Support the Project Delivery Design Team(s) in day to day BIM implementation activities.
• Measure and ensure the highest quality for all BIM package submissions in accordance with Project standards and requirements.
• Provide progress and performance updates on fortnightly and monthly basis.
• Record, store and maintain all formal correspondences related to BIM activities.
• Develop and maintain BIM Civil 3D libraries, continually advancing the platforms’ efficiency and utilization
• Support the deployment (hardware and software items) and provide hands-on BIM software training for Project team members.
• Supervise the BIM modelers, collaborate and coordinate with the Design Team design-changes and model challenges.
• Develop and extract 2D geometry from the models for internal reviews and coordination meetings.
• Ensure Project Information Model (PIM) are delivered in accordance with the agreed TIDP, MIDP and CDE protocol.

• A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 8 years of demonstrable experience of BIM design production experience in a multi-disciplinary environment, preferably wet and dry utilities projects.
• Experience in consultant and infrastructure projects preferred.
• In-depth working knowledge of current Autodesk products such as but not limited to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.
• Proficient in a range of BIM authoring, scripting, design review, coordination, simulations, and collaboration applications and/or platforms e.g. Civil 3D, Open Buildings Designer, Dynamo, Revit, Grasshopper, Navisworks.
• Experience with BIM instruction and trainings.

• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken, with good capability in oral and written communication skills.
• Computer skills and the ability to utilize design software are mandatory.
• Middle East/Gulf Countries experience preferred but not essential
