:· Assists Fields, maintenance support department in reviewing maintenance practices, philosophies and strategies. Assist in developing maintenance programmes with the objective of achieving high service factors at optimum cost. Liaises with engineering in specification of new equipment and installations of new projects.· Advise maintenance support on trouble shooting of non-routine equipment failure, cause analysis. Review spare parts and advise on stock level optimisation. Act as technical custodian for the electrical/Instrumentation equipment. Conduct surveys on HVAC, Electrical installation and prepare action plans.· Conducts audit on maintenance practices and facilitate workshop on RCM. Reliability studies including preparation of FMEA sheets (Failure Mode and effect Analysis). Should be able to make statistical analysis, such as Pareto analysis and fault tree analysis.· Develops maintenance policies and strategies to improve availability and reliability of equipment and plants. Conducts and facilitate Reliability Centred Maintenance workshop and carry out Root Cause analysis.· Assess criticality of equipment and system for new project and existing plant. Review spare parts for new projects and ensure two years operational spares are ordered. Assist commercial department on spare parts management and Defines optimum stock for operating spares including safety stock level.· Ensures that the company’s safety regulations are adhered to particularly with regard to the isolation of electrical equipment. Ensures compliance with electrical work permit procedures. Raises VAP’s for electrical/instrument equipment and associated parts required.· Reviews spare parts held in stock and ensure that the EAC and safety level are kept in line with the requirement. Liaisons on a daily basis with offshore engineers/supervisors on routine operational/maintenance problems.· Processes recommendations to improve electrical/Instrumentation /HVAC systems at work procedures. Assists in developing maintenance programmes for electrical/ HVAC equipment and instruments. Advise maintenance support on trouble shooting of non-routine equipment failures.· Conducts surveys on electrical/HVAC installations and prepare action plans. Conduct audit on maintenance practices.Guides, directs and supervises subordinates to ensure they work to their best potential and contribute effectively as a Team.
