To ensure a culture of safe working environment for a cement factory during the construction, commissioning, and operation phase.Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and work processes to identify hazards and risks.
- Issuance of Safety permits for all kinds of maintenance activities.
- Create a culture of safety and awareness amongst all employees and contractors.
- Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics.
- Be Aware of the latest updates in the Environment, Health, and Safety regulations of the UAE.
- Have robust emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to improve preparedness for potential emergencies.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions.
- Must have 5-10 years of experience in the cement industry; 4-6 years of UAE experience is preferred.
- Basic Computer knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
- Safety and occupation health competency.
- Conversant with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Communication skills (written and verbal) for coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Time management skills.
