Job Title: Contract Manager / Contract Administrator
Location: Abu Dhabi
Work Schedule: 5 days a week in the officeProject: Reclamation - Reclaiming a new island for oil production
Project Description: The project involves reclaiming a new island for the purpose of oil production. This includes transforming an area of water into usable land and constructing the necessary infrastructure to support oil extraction activities.Responsibilities:
  • Drafting letters and correspondence to the client pertaining to contractual matters.
  • Following up on contractual letters and ensuring timely responses.
  • Reporting to the Contracts Manager on contract-related matters and providing regular updates.
  • Analyzing and resolving complex issues related to contracts, both from a logical and interpersonal perspective.
  • Negotiating and defusing conflicts that may arise during the contract management process.
  • Utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address contract-related challenges.
  • Demonstrating experience in leading and managing high-performing individuals and teams.
  • Acting as a team player, motivating and educating other team members, and effectively collaborating on complex, technical subjects.
  • Exhibiting excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with a diverse group of individuals involved in the project.
  • Possessing the ability and willingness to travel when necessary to fulfill job requirements.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of construction contracts.
  • Previous experience in infrastructure projects is preferred.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and resolving complex issues, both from a logical and interpersonal standpoint.
  • Effective negotiation skills and the ability to defuse conflicts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in leading and managing high-performing individuals and teams.
  • A team-oriented mindset, with the ability to motivate and educate team members and comprehend complex, technical subjects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to travel when required.
