- Training and qualifying national employee and empowering them technically and actively contributing to the transfer of expertise and the localization of the ATC specialization, which is considered one of the rare and important specialties in the railway systems, operations, or any related fields
- Conducting site visits during and outside working hours to ensure that all quality standards are applied to ensure the achievement of results
- Oversee and supervise all ATC repair workshops in the Dubai Metro Depot and follow up the repairing of ATC equipment and prepare the progress reports accordingly
- Provide professional advice, guidance, and recommendations on all aspects of (ATC) projects and follow up on the obsolescence of the Automated Train Control systems (ATC) and signaling systems for the Dubai Metro and Tram and related systems, review and approve the refurbishment and replacement plans in coordination with the concerned parties
- Contribute to planning and reviewing the objectives and strategies of the rail maintenance department, setting priorities, and technique of performance measurement to achieve the objectives of the rail maintenance
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering / Artificial Intelligence / Operation System Technology / Smart Data Managements from a recognized university. A master's degree is preferred
- 8 years of relevant working experience
- Practical experience in Automated Train Control systems (ATC) and all railway disciplines that interfaced with it, including traction power, communication, data protection and cybersecurity, rolling stock, track, switch machine, tunnels, viaduct, operation control central, platform screen door
- The ability to calculate maintenance cost and plan procurement and development work
- A leader who focuses on goals, maintains a climate of productivity, and has confidence to motivate, prepare and train employees to achieve high standards of performance.
- The ability to manage failures and effectively lead the team to reduce risks and restore service
- Ability to write and implement specialized tests to validate and verify the efficiency and functionality of Automated Train Control systems (ATC) and signaling systems.
