Senior Customs & Trade Compliance Specialist

- Responsible for any import or export related operational issues
- Understands the legal framework and policy restrictions for export or import control regimes and maintains processes for appropriate government agencies and system routines to comply
- Acts as contact point for businesses and other functions for advice and assistance in case of non-standard import/export-related operational issues or questions
- Implements new procedures/changes relative to outcome of e.g. government audits and new regulations
- Investigates regulatory implications for new business flows/material flows
- Requests licenses and ensures compliance with the conditions in the licenses
- Implements proper work processes within the function to ensure compliance with regulations and adherence to licenses
- Organizes and performs reports needed for regulatory requirements
- Continues analysis of business and material flows and determines best practices from a perspective of appropriate government agency
- Required education: University Degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or other Sciences
- Required experience: 3-6 years of experience in a Supply Chain or Manufacturing environment
