- Lead the Advanced Analytics & Delivery section, provide oversight to the design, shaping and building of the Analytical use cases / projects
- Own organizations analytical use cases portfolio including cross-government use cases or sectorial use cases with no dedicated ownership
- Manage relevant stakeholders to prioritize and deliver the use cases
- Work closely with the organizations Sector Executive Director to:
- Set the direction for organizations analytics strategy and processes
- Refresh the strategy following emerging trends, change of needs and requirements, etc.
- Develop organizations analytics roadmap including key milestones
- Identify, with the collaboration of the Analytics Delivery Lead Artificial Intelligence (AI) automation opportunities to drive efficiency
- Communicate regularly with organizations and sector leads’ Analytics & Delivery Leads to understand progress on the analytics agenda and help identify cross-government analytics opportunities
- Lead the transformation of cross-government data and information into insights that inform high-level strategy and tactical decision-making in support of organizations strategic objectives
- Drive analytics-related processes improvements to support an efficient and cost-effective operations environment across the organizations
- Lead, motivate and inspire a team of Business Analysts, Data Scientists, Data Engineers and BI developers
- A minimum of 10 years of combined experience as a project manager / delivery lead in data engineering, data science and visualization
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Analytics, Statistics or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
- Experience and understanding public service business functions, systems, data to oversee the design and delivery of use cases
- Good understanding of data science, AI and ML models, data quality, data governance framework, data security
- Solid understanding of data engineering, DWH, Data Lake, dashboards / data visualization, etc.
- Ability to manage various stakeholders while gathering and/ or delivering the use cases
