Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Research assistant with experience in microscopy and molecular biology techniques applied to different arthropod (insect and acarine) species. The candidate is expected to contribute significantly to our research team focusing on pathogens and pests of honey bees. Selected candidate will assist the principal investigator in the field and laboratory research activities, including sample collection, sample processing, laboratory experiments, morphological and molecular identification, data analysis etc.Minimum QualificationDoctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Bachelor of Science (BSc), or Bachelor degree from another relevant field. Successful candidate must have some relevant work/training experience after completing the first degree (e.g., bachelor). A postgraduate degree (MSc degree) in the relevant field is a plus.Preferred Qualification
