- Localizes where possible marketing materials to ensure relevance and suitability.
- Planning and executing Retailer events.
- Briefs and monitors execution in close co-ordination with Visual Merchandising (timing, quality, cost).
- Coordinates the implementation of VM strategy and guidelines for the region including standard blue prints for equipment and creation of a VM calendar for collateral and visuals in line with the marketing calendar.
- Create and distribute merchandising planograms to the markets based on new door openings/requirements
- Lead new door openings for all markets (coordination of merchandising, VM, planograms, testers, POSM) and internal and external parties.
- Responsible for the renewal of VM equipment in existing stores including lightbox visuals, showcase inserts, locators and tester units.
- Coordinate the distribution and movement of existing display materials and open service locators.
- Ensure equipment and collateral are ordered by distributors/retailers and that optimum stock levels are maintained (in conjunction with SEM’s).
- Preparation of merchandising dossiers for all launches and promo activities (shelf merchandising guidelines; color-studio and treatment tester stands update; announcements, banners lightboxes, storytelling units and local merchandising units) including respective codes.
- Preparation of photo-reports of launches, promo activities and counter openings.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and Store Design to forecast for new tester stands/updates for related programs.
- Monitor, track & coordinate VM collaterals shipment.
- Responsible for timely forecast of all merchandise related collateral through IMW/IMD in line with budget and market requirements
- Spends time with Store Design and VM team in the field ensuring proper implementation of merchandising guidelines including store visits within UAE and travel to other markets if required
- Reviews P and L on a monthly basis with the marketing & brand team and manage trade budget lines.
- Planning and monitoring of budget for GWP’s, Displayers, POS and VM material (e.g. glorifiers).
- Responsible for giving valid forecast inputs ensure forecast is aligned with trade plan focus.
- Create shopping cards and follow up (for own responsible areas).
- 3+ years marketing experience in retail / cosmetics / luxury goods or FMCG
- Strong excel skills
- Great Analytical skills
- Great communication skills
- A strong multi-tasking ability
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.
- Very high levels of attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills, including in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Knowledge of the market, retailers and competitors
