My client a well established manufacturing company based in Blackburn is looking for an experienced Warehouse Worker with experience on a Counterbalance FLT. As a Warehouse / FLT Driver you will be responsible for various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and materials handling. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to operate warehouse equipment. The working hours are on a permanent back shift working 3pm-11pm Monday-Friday.Responsibilities:
Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other equipment
Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials
Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
Perform inventory counts and maintain warehouse organization
Operate warehouse management system to track inventory and shipments
Assist with equipment repair and maintenance as needed
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Skills:
Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
Basic math skills for inventory counts and order accuracy
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
Strong materials handling skills to ensure proper storage and organization in the warehouse
