On behalf of our client, an established and reputable Accounting and Audit Firm in Nicosia, GRS are currently seeking to recruit an Accountant. Offering high quality services to their clients on a local and international level, our client prides themselves as a trusted partner in the provision of Audit and Accounting services. The successful candidate will therefore be responsible for addressing and executing client accounting requirements in a professional and timely manner. If you have 2 years’ minimum previous experience within the accounting profession and would like to become a part of an exciting team of professionals, GRS looks forward to receiving your CV for this Nicosia based accounting role.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintaining accounting books and records on behalf of our clients in our firm’s accounting software
Deal with bank/receivable/payables reconciliations
Assist in gathering information and coordination of the audits
Maintenance of VAT registers and preparations of VAT returns
Communicating and liaising with Tax Authorities and Social Insurance
Preparing any ad hoc reports, documents and analysis in Microsoft Excel

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Holder of bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting/ LCCI and/or trainee for ACA or ACCA
At least 2 years of previous working experience in an accounting and/or audit firm
Excellent command of Microsoft Excel
Fluent in Greek and English languages both verbal and written
Strong organizational and attention to details skills
