Engage with local sports clubs like football, hockey, golf, cricket, and tennis.Benefit from an on-site café and join a thriving social club organising diverse social events yearly.Family Friendly Workplace Certified company with genuine care for employee, great flexibility and benefits.Responsibilities:Actively participate in design planning meetings, design reviews and other project meetings as required / taskedPrepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for product, tooling, gauges, plant and equipment, P&IDs, site facilities and services.Maintain and revise existing drawings and process design change documents and document control via configuration management system.Adherence to Thales quality system requirements and ensuring drafting standards are followed; AS1100 & Thales specific requirements.About You:Proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD design using current Autodesk software – AutoCAD, Inventor, Vault etc.Competence in applying Australian Drawing Standard AS 1100 and geometric tolerances.Experience in use of computer based library systems and ability to interpret and analyse drawings and technical documents.Intermediate / Advanced working knowledge of the principles of configuration management.Effective communication both written and verbal.Good to KnowYou’ll get an email acknowledgement after you’ve applied; Thales strives to provide a personalised experience for all suitable applicants.As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
