Senior Accountant (Manufacturing)

- Manage monthly closing processes, including billings, purchases, cash book, and journal entries.
- Monitor and follow up on collections and payments.
- Ensure all accounts are reconciled, documented, and audit-ready.
- Maintain a comprehensive record of production costs and overhead expenses.
- Conduct regular cost variance analysis and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and review costing and transfer pricing models for different products.
- Monitor key financial metrics and trends, and report findings to senior management.
- Prepare monthly management reports in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with external auditors to produce audited accounts on schedule.
- Liaise with bankers, tax agents, suppliers, and other external parties.
- Act as a business partner to the production, engineering, quality assurance teams, and support factory operations.
- Manage the plant's capital budgeting process, including investments in equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.
- Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and asset tracking systems.
- Evaluate capital projects for feasibility, ROI, and alignment with business objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or ACCA certification is a plus
- Preferably 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and financial software (e.g., Excel, financial modelling tools)
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate financial information effectively
- Understanding of cash flow management
