Join the DSAD team to grow SSG into a data-mature organization where we use data pervasively and securely to deliver on our business missions: • Develop and drive SSG's data strategy, including LOIs, data competency, and maintaining strong links with CIO Office • Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive data governance and management framework that complies with WOG requirements Implement Lines of Inquiries • Support data management and exploitation • Develop MLOps and instil best practicesWhat you will be working on:The Manager, Data Analysis in the Data Strategy & Analytics Division (DSAD) plays a pivotal role in enhancing our organization's data capabilities to support advanced analytics projects. This position is dedicated to ensuring the integrity, accessibility, and strategic use of our data assets, aligning with our mission to leverage data for insightful decision-making and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will embody our core values of innovation, collaboration, and integrity, driving forward our vision to be at the forefront of data-driven solutions in our industry. • Data Cleaning and Pre-processing: o Carry out data cleaning, pre-processing, and feature engineering to prepare datasets for advanced analytics, demonstrating a commitment to our value of excellence and innovation. o Proficiency in SQL and Python is essential for effective data manipulation and preparation. • Data Lake Management: o Manage the creation of workflows and the maintenance of tables in SSG's Data Lake, ensuring data quality and accessibility. o Experience in managing large datasets and familiarity with data lake architectures are required. • Stakeholder Training and Support: o Assist in the training of internal stakeholders in using tools within SSG's Data Lake, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. o Work closely with data analysts across various divisions to support their data needs, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Analytics and Reporting: o Support divisions in the creation of Tableau reports or dashboards, and analytics datasets tailored to business and analytic needs. o Prior experience in data analysis, dashboard creation, and proficiency in Tableau are criticalWhat we are looking for:- Qualifications and Experience: o Proven experience in data management, data governance, or a similar role within a data-centric organization. o Familiarity with government data standards and policies is highly desirable. - Skills and Competencies: o Strong knowledge of data governance and data management frameworks and processes. o Analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail. o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with a variety of stakeholders. o Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating our core value of unity and collective effort.About SkillsFuture Singapore:SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Education (MOE). It will drive and coordinate the implementation of the national SkillsFuture movement, promote a culture and holistic system of lifelong learning through the pursuit of skills mastery, and strengthen the ecosystem of quality education and training in Singapore. SSG will strengthen the adult training infrastructure by taking on all existing functions of the Committee for Private Education (CPE) and guide the Institute for Adult Learning (IAL) to enhance the capabilities and professionalism of adult educators. SSG will play a key role in the quality assurance for private education institutions and adult training centres. Together with educational institutions and training partners, SSG will ensure that students and working adults have access to high quality, industry-relevant training throughout life. SSG will also bring together synergies in continuing education and training (CET) and pre-employment training (PET), so skills requirements will continue to meet the demands of different sectors of the economy.
