My client is a growing boutique accounting practice in the heart of the CBD. The accounting and advisory arm of the business provides high quality tax, advisory and consulting services to their clients. Clients are diverse in industry (including construction, healthcare, professional services, and family groups) and range up to $70 million in annual turnover.They are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Accountant (business Services) to their team. The role will report into a passionate and down-to-earth Director, and work closely with a dedicated and friendly team both in-house and offshore.This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate professional, looking for the next step in their career. Where you can tackle more complex advisory work and grow your supervisory abilities.The leadership team have young families and understand there is far more to life than work, so this is not somewhere you will be pushed to work long hours, there is a good ethos around balance.Part-time hours can be considered for the right candidate.Key duties include:

Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, group tax summary and loan summary for corporate and family groups, including Trusts, Companies, Partnerships, Individuals & SMSFs
Preparation of payroll tax returns, FBT returns, activity statements
Delegating and reviewing juniors work
Liaising with statutory bodies and external service providers

The ideal candidate will possess

CA or CPA qualification
4 + years experience in public practice
Experience reviewing the work of junior team members
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
