Analytical Team Leader – Quality ControlLocation: CraigavonHours: 37.5 Hours Per WeekBusiness Unit: Almac SciencesOpen To: Internal & External ApplicantsRef No.: HRJOB9506We are currently recruiting for an Analytical Team Leader to join our Almac Sciences Business unit, based in our Craigavon headquarters in Northern Ireland.The post holder will be responsible for performing, monitoring and accepting accountability for all assigned analytical duties relating to the Quality Control operations within Almac Sciences GMP Manufacturing facilities. Quality and Analytical support shall primarily be provided for, but not limited to, all aspects of the business relating to the manufacture of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs).Analytical techniques include but are not limited to HPLC, UPLC, GC, IC, UV, PSA, NMR, KF and IR analysis.Essential Candidate Criteria· 5 GCSE (or equivalent), grades A-C, including Mathematics and English Language· Degree level qualification in an Analytical/Chemistry related discipline· (significant industry experience, may be considered in Lieu of Degree Qualification)· Previous relevant industry experience· Previous experience in a GMP/GLP environment· Experience in the performance management of team(s)· Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory guidelines relevant to drug developmentDesirable Candidate Criteria· Postgraduate level qualification (or equivalent) in a related discipline· Experience in method development and/or validation· Experience leading investigations and root cause analysis.Closing Date: Tuesday 30 April 2024 at 17:00RECRUITMENT AGENCIES PLEASE NOTE: Almac will only accept applications from agencies/business partners that have been invited to work on this role by our Talent Acquisition team.
