Job Description:
  • Manage the PRA unit to ensure that all activities are according to CIMB Group Policies & Procedures including Regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in relevant projects related to PRA and SASS as a whole.
  • Identifies and manages the activities/functions of PRA unit eg. Prepare strategic, business and action plans, as well as sourcing evaluation considerations, due diligence, budgets and execution plans, and to make recommendations to the Head of SASS on initiatives that may result in cost savings or resource savings
  • Monitor the overall operating expenses and cost reduction opportunities in PRA operations. Manage relationships with vendors, service providers and to monitor to ensure all items are invoiced and paid on time.
  • Establish and maintain relationship with internal customers and vendor representative to facilitate records management processes at off-site facilities, to assure services, cost, quality, and delivery targets are met.
  • Overall monitoring of team member's tasks which include identifying, escalating issues as and when they occur.
  • Approver for Digital Sampling, invoice verification, PO issuance, site visit and destruction checklist
  • Meetings with internal lawyers, external lawyers, internal auditors, external auditors, , procurement, risk team, etc
  • Prepare and present to management and committees, e.g. department updates, TWC, PSC, GORRC, GRCC, BRCC etc
  • Outsourcing deliverables i.e GDD, ITDD, ICP, Materiality Evaluation & Business Risk Assessment, Outsourcing Proposal
  • Financial: Preparation of CBI budgets and Contractual PO. Investigation and follow through vendors outstanding accounts
  • Project Management; interface with BUs and vendors, follow through progress, reporting of project progress
  • Incident Management; interface with vendors, risk & , group data & investigation stakeholders, reporting of investigations, update to BNM
  • Oversee and manage tender processes
  • Initiate inventory system development
  • Oversee the switch from paper to electronic record-keeping
  • Ensure that all data and confidentiality are protected
  • Ensure proper detsructions and archival of records
  • Ensure completion of internal documentation and tracking
  • Any other responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department from time to time
People Management
  • Manage the performance of the team members and enhance their competency in performing their responsibilities.
  • Manage staff resources, reward performing staff and provide continuous coaching and monitoring of staff development.
Regulatory
  • Maintain with relevant regulation, policies and procedures and ensure highest standard of integrity and professionalism in serving stakeholders
  • Ensure with regulatory requirements and CIMB policies & procedures
