Job SummaryThe Architect is responsible to plan, develop and implement building designs. They compile feasibility reports, determine environmental impact, create project proposals, estimate costs, determine timelines and oversee construction processes. Assist in analyzing client's requirements and interpret the project plan and activities. Ensures smooth execution of project activities from planning to completion stage by adhering to the Qatar Law and organizational regulations.Job Responsibilities 1Responsible for developing customers and nurturing professional relationship.Determine goals and ultimately responsible for delivering final schematics and construction documents tobuilding contractors.Generate building designs and highly detailed drawings as per the concept of client to capture clientrequirement.Ensure to understand the project brief and client requirements.Ensure to generate on time concept design that meets the project brief and client requirements.Ensure to contribute in obtaining on time the approval of the client on the concept design.Ensure to contribute in managing the project design as directed by the design manager and IMS procedure.Ensure the deliverables on time for all design stages; concept, schematic, detailed design and constructiondocuments.Liaise with construction professionals about the feasibility of a proposed project, including constraining factorssuch as town planning legislation, environmental impact and project budget to ensure project activities areplanned for smooth operation.Coordinate closely with a team of other professionals such as building service engineers, constructionmanagers, quantity surveyors and architectural technologists to fulfill client requirements.Job Responsibilities 2Have high knowledge of contraction details.Coordinates all aspects of the design & fitout process with different departments within the company.Actively monitor the Fit-Out process to eliminate possible opportunities for delay whilst monitoring that all aspects of the building are compliant with approvals.Create weekly and monthly progress/design reports for the HOD's evaluation.Review and update the fitout procedure wherever required.Monitor the safety measures taken by the contractor and make sure they all comply to the property rules.Coordinate with the company's authorized consultant and follow up with them on all related works.Be a team player and work as a liaison between RDT team, general contractor, and authorized consultant.Keep track of assigned tasks and achieve KPIs.Additional Responsibilities 3Job Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge in Retail Delivery / Project Management / Design / Construction.Proficient in design software, AutoCAD, planning software such as Microsoft project.Ability to work within a multicultural team of all levels of the business.Ability to multitask and monitor different projects within the company.Proactive and can work under minimal supervision with self-motivation to complete tasks.
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
