Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for in-room dining orders, ensuring all food is presented in a timely and visually appealing manner- Maintain a clean and organized work station, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines- Assist in menu planning and development, taking into consideration guest preferences and dietary restrictions- Work closely with the Room Service team to ensure all orders are delivered accurately and efficiently- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all guest requests and inquiries are handled promptly and professionally- Continuously strive to improve and enhance the in-room dining experience for our guests- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as neededRequirements:- Previous experience as a Commi IRD or in a similar role- Culinary degree or diploma from an accredited institution- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and presentation- Excellent communication and customer service skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
