You will play a crucial role in crafting and maintaining WordPress-based websites, ensuring they are both visually appealing and functionally robust.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop WordPress websites with a focus on user interface and experience, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and ease of use.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management and design to understand and implement project requirements effectively.Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project needs.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to WordPress coding standards.Implement security measures and best practices to safeguard website integrity and user data.Test and debug websites across various browsers and devices to ensure optimal performance and responsiveness.Stay updated on the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve development processes.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field preferred.4+ years of experience in WordPress development with a focus on UI/UX.Proficiency in front-end technologies such as ReactJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Proficiency in back-end technologies such as Node.js, PHP and SQL databases.Strong command of WordPress CMS, including theme and plugin development.Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.Familiarity with popular WordPress page builders such as Elementor or Beaver Builder.Knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques for WordPress websites.Experience with version control systems such as Git.Experience in developing cloud-based applications using AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and EC2.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for project deliverables.Powered by JazzHR
