Our expertise is the design and manufacture of communications-based specialty products – engineered components and subsystems – for demanding military, space, commercial aerospace/industrial, and telecom infrastructure applications where function and reliability are crucial.Directs and coordinates activities concerned with Training & continuous improvement of all company activities, driving the organization toward efficient operations, by performing the following duties personally or through other employees.Essential Functions/Responsibilities:Responsible for training of new staff in all MPG policies, Safe to start and Manufacturing Procedures (Dozuki).Instill a strong foundation in 5’s, FOD & ESD.Develop Training Materials for lean processes & Principles as well as other materials as necessaries.Support HHRR for all Hiring requisition to support production linesCompleting all task set by the supervisors and assisting where possible.Observing Health and safety guideline at all timeFacilitates and leads the continuous improvement process by identifying training needs and providing training in problem solving methodology, Kaizen, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping.Engages the leadership team in setting and achieving goals utilizing Lean initiatives.Participate in cost reduction projects.Participate in transfer process and Implementing the concept: “Copy Exact”Support Production Line Manufacturing Engineering in case needed.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExcellent communication skills in Spanish & EnglishTechnical skills in lean manufacturing techniques, Kaizen, process improvement.Experience in Transfer Process.Experience in creating and managing a departmental budget.Computer and Microsoft Office literate (Word, Excel, etc.).Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of disciplines in a dynamic environment.Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED required.Bachelor’s degree in a technical related field or equivalent experience required.Five or more year’s electronic or electro-mechanical manufacturing experience required.Minimum of 2 years’ experience in lean manufacturing or Continuous Improvements role’s.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
