- Ensure robust financial controls are developed, integrated (preferably utilizing automation and proactive measures), and implemented effectively to mitigate financial risks.
- Supervise the Order-to-Cash Process, encompassing all stages from the initiation of sales orders to the timely and complete collection of sales proceeds.
- Manage the Purchase-to-Pay process, which includes overseeing payments for trade and non-trade purchases, staff claims and booking, and the approval of e-banking payments.
- Oversee the Record-to-Report process, which involves various procedures such as revenue recognition and recording, product costing and margin reporting, inventory management including stock costing, movements, and adjustments, capital expenditure management and reporting, fixed asset management process, balance sheet general ledger control, and the completion of financial reports like P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
- Serve as a financial coordinator for brands, collaborating with Onpoint customers to ensure accurate execution and billing of all contractual trading terms and promotion claim-backs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations by designing and implementing financial processes that align with VAT, CIT, and WHT requirements.
- Provide regular financial performance reports on a periodic basis (e.g., monthly, quarterly, and yearly).
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with VAS and relevant accounting policies and standards to ensure compliance.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Preferably, be a member of a professional body such as ACCA or CPA.
- Prior experience in finance and accounting management is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in leading a team is required.
- A background in Big 4 auditing firms is preferable.
- Proficient in people leadership skills.
- Enthusiastic about implementing changes through automation and system integrations to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Capable of making effective decisions despite limited time and information.
- Skilled in achieving results through influence, persuasion, collaboration, and relationship-building.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
