- You get the chance to build up knowhow, develop and maintain long-term maintenance strategies in the field of maintenance on high voltage and electrical protection equipment (e.g. transformers, cables, switchgear, substations, protections, excitation systems, …).
- It is your goal to become an expert in the field in order to support both ENGIE and non-ENGIE sites.
- In order to become an expert you will:
- ensure the day by day technical support of the different electrical maintenance teams within EMS.
- initiate and realize improvement and replacement projects on electrical equipment.
- conduct Root-Cause Analyses and define corrective and preventive actions in the case of incidents or non-conformities observed during outages.
- play a key role in the preparation, execution and consolidation of overhauls on electrical equipment.
- define the scope, be in charge of contracting work packages, do technical follow-up and reporting.
- You further develop and consolidate your knowhow by driving internal return of experience processes and through participation to internal and external network events.
- You work as a team and in collaboration with different internal and external stakeholders.
- You hold a Master Degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering/Energy/Mathematics /Physics.
- You have proven interest in energy, electrical engineering or (power)electronics and want to further develop your knowledge in this field in order to become a reference in this domain inside and outside ENGIE.
- You have a professional knowledge of English and either French or Dutch. German is a plus.
- You hold strong analytical skills and are able to make incident analysis in order to solve problems.
- You’re a true team player who works together towards common goals.
- You are a good communicator and are able to collaborate with various types of people: both technicians and engineers.
