SSC Finance AdministratorWe are seeking an administrator with a finance background to assist with everyday functions in the Shared Service Centre. This person will be joining our expanding team in the Dalata Service Centre in Cork City and is advertised due to an internal promotion.Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist the Group Procurement System Analyst in managing and optimising the Procure Wizard system for the organisation.
  • Assisting with the timely set up of suppliers, ensuring that the correct controls and procedures are in place meet company standards.
  • Support the accurate and timely set-up of debtor accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are processed in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • The ideal candidate will be supporting the reconciliation and payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner as part of our accounts payable team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting to managing and responding to all inbox queries, ensuring timely and accurate communication with clients, and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
  • The ideal candidate will exhibit a collaborative spirit, providing comprehensive support to various roles in the SSC, ensuring seamless operational flow and enhanced productivity across departments.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven work experience in hotel finance administration, finance assistance, or a similar role is desirable.
  • Proficiency with accounting software, such as SAGE 200 an advantage.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, including the ability to create spreadsheets, charts, and use financial Excel functions.
  • A solid understanding of bookkeeping procedures.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
  • A qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is often required.
