Territory Manager (Orthodontics)New York City, NYOur established U.S. based client is expanding and looking to add a key remote outside sales contributor role based anywhere in the Mid-Atlantic or Northeastern U.S (Boston, NYC, Philly or DC). This role will be critical in the development of a robust sales expansion plan. This role, called the Outside Territory Manager will report to the National Sales Manager and is responsible for all sales in a defined geographical territory for all client's products in order to meet and exceed sales forecast and sales objectives. The Outside Territory Manager is responsible for hunting and account management function within the territory. This position will coordinate with several departments within the company in handling product orders and customer service requests.Essential Duties
  • Responsible for the sales and sales growth of orthodontic supplies and laboratory services
  • Develop annual business plan in conjunction with NSM, which details key growth initiatives and meets or exceeding sales forecast
  • Maintain dynamic business plan throughout sales calendar
  • Proactively manage assigned accounts to maximize sales and reach sales objectives
  • Maintain high value customers with service requested, order tracking, and following up on account concerns
  • Execute sales and marketing strategies and objectives
  • Maintain active customer files in CRM
  • Input new data into CRM
  • Execute Orthodontic University program initiatives
  • Receive calls from customers and provide appropriate customer service
  • Introduce and sell products into new accounts
  • Provide technical information as needed to customers
  • Communicate with management the needs of the customer
  • Increase sales and average order size by means of up-selling, add-on-sales, and portfolio selling
  • Manage time effectively
  • Properly route territory and maintain minimum requirement of account call frequency
  • Meet and exceed personal goals
  • Work effectively with other members of the sales, customer service, and marketing team
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Present a professional image at all times to customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Management of territory may require up to 40% travel
Required Skills & Competencies
  • Bachelors' degree preferred - Advertising, Business or Marketing
  • Prior sales experience required, preferred 2 plus years of B2B sales minimum
  • Excellent Organization & Time Management
  • Exceptional Communication Skills - both verbal & written
  • Grit, Persistence & Tenacity
