The Global Procurement Organization (GPO) is in the finalization of transformation that will change the dynamic of how GPO engages with its stakeholders. This transformation is necessary to keep up with the fast-changing environment, develop into a digital organization, meet the Board’s ambitious growth plans, and support SAP’s strategy.
The Technology, Supplier Management & Governance (TSG) Team is part of the Global Procurement Organization. The team helps to make GPO run simpler, compliant and effective and to improve our people´s lives.
We want to make GPO the place to be - transparent and well structured.
We need to identify and support to review processes (incl. potential for automatization and resp. outsourcing) and roll them out. Important is to ensure clear governance guidelines as well.What you'll doPosition title: SAP iXp Intern - Procurement Processes & Governance (limited, part-time)Duration: min. 6 months
- Support for Global Procurement Organization - Technology, Supplier Management & Governance (TSG) team including the Exception Request team
- Basic understanding of compliance topics including a good “gut feeling”
- Communication with Line of Businesses and colleagues for clarification and explanation
- Creating and evaluating reports
- Ad-hoc support of other GPO processes and projects
- Student (f/m) at a university or a university of applied sciences, all fields of study – preferred economics, international business, communication, legal
- Good written and verbal skills in English is a must
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel & Macros, Word, PowerPoint)
- Student should know, in detail, Microsoft pptx and be able to demonstrate skills in an interview setting
- Proactive thinking and good sense of responsibility
- Organizational talent
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently with focus on results
- Flexibility and ability to work in a team
- Strong communication skills
