Job DescriptionWe are seeking an industry experienced, proactive, and self-motivated professional to join our IT team.The role spans across two equally important areas. The first part being value realization of the Specialty Site Support product for manufacturing sites. Owns the product/service through its entire lifecycle, setting the product vision and strategy, and prioritizing the product backlog. The role requires ability to build strong relationships with product stakeholders to identify and deeply understand their desired outcomes, as well as discover unarticulated problems and unmet needs.In the second area the candidate will be responsible for operational support excellence and innovation to drive continuous improvement. The candidate plays a critical role in enabling the delivery of high-quality products/services to end-users, understanding end users’ pain-points, funneling feedback to global product teams, and driving innovation initiatives to improve end-user experience.The individual shall work closely with our Manufacturing Division IT stakeholders, Technology Infrastructure Operations & Experience Value Streams and their customer demand management layers. The candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate across departments to drive and realize broader IT objectives.What you should doProduct ManagerDefine vision of the product and align stakeholders around the visionUnderstand the long-term strategy of the manufacturing division and translate it to the demand for new servicesDefine framework, roles & responsibilities, and documentation for onsite delivery teams on manufacturing sites and ensure global consistency of the servicesDefine Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the product based on Global End User Services Value Stream OKRsPrioritize product features and capabilities and continuously improve product/services qualityManage globally distributed product team to deliver product valueBusiness Technology PartnerFacilitate the product delivery and adoption according to the IT Product Model on the site level and collaboration on the delivery across all IT departmentsProvide services and solutions based on Technology Infrastructure Operations & Experience products according to the customer demand in our Manufacturing DivisionWork closely with Network Services, Cloud & Infrastructure Technology, and Digital Manufacturing Division teams to deliver and operate reliable IT infrastructureManage a service delivery team across the sites under direct responsibilityManage services delivery of contracts supporting the end user computing spaceDeliver IT Support services that are cost effective and of high qualityEnsure that the supported computing equipment is well maintained throughout its lifecycle. Scope of IT infrastructure support includes laptop/desktop, mobile devices, networks, security, servers, and telephony throughout all divisionsPeople ManagerProvide operational leadership to a product team across the globe and the respective in market service delivery teamsResponsible for all personnel management activities for the employees assigned to him/her, including hiring, performance management, career development, coaching, training, and termination, as neededCreate a culture of innovation, transformation, experimentation while maintaining a focus on the best customer experience and continuous improvementHow we see an ideal candidateQualification and ExperienceSkilled collaborator and influencer capable of partnering with clients, stakeholders, and service partners to driving effective delivery of IT solutionsProficient in Product Management, Stakeholder Relationship Management, Requirements Definition and Management, Systems Development Management.Experienced with aligning the organization and communicating complex technical decisionsExperience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT services utilizing various technologiesExperienced in manufacturing IT environment and its specifics (GxP)Experienced in IT Infrastructure management (IT networking, hosting)Understanding of end user computing support in a Managed Service environmentStrong understanding of ITSM principles and preferably ITIL frameworkExperienced with managing geographically distributed teamsExcellent written, verbal, negotiation, communication and presentation skillsExperience with capital and expense planning and budget monitoringExperienced with different delivery methods (agile, traditional) in large organizationsBachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in IT Service Management, Product Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering10 years of relevant IT experience3 years of specific experience in delivering services to manufacturing/highly regulated sites2 years of leadership experience in a matrix global organizationProfessional CompetenciesBusiness and Financial acumen: Demonstrates working knowledge of the company’s core business structure and how function contributes to and works within the organizationWorking across boundaries: Demonstrates skill in developing and maintaining networks that span divisions and geographical boundariesStrategic Thinking: Demonstrates the ability to adapt current work processes to meet emerging needs and changes in job responsibilities.
