Roles And Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical components and systems for robotic applications. Collaborate with electrical engineers and software developers to integrate mechanical systems with control and sensing technologies. Utilize CAD software to create detailed designs and specifications for mechanical parts and assemblies. Conduct feasibility studies and analysis to evaluate the performance, reliability, and manufacturability of mechanical designs. Prototype and test mechanical prototypes to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement. Optimize designs for weight, strength, and functionality while considering factors such as cost and manufacturability.
