Job DescriptionEnsure product accuracy to the purchase orders and purchase requisitions.
Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
Place and issue purchase orders immediately with local suppliers.
Work with suppliers and make adjustments as needed to the existing open purchase orders including expedite delivery schedules, resolve shortages and late deliveries, as well as all other issues.
Track and update products META through PO and CyberPlanner.
Negotiate for the best possible price and seek opportunities for cost reduction.
Work with Sales and PM for project base purchases, such as forecast and demand planning, ensure supplier’s terms and conditions are comply with company policy and objective.
Plan and schedule materials based on the requirement to improve inventory turnover rate
Obtain evaluation samples from suppliers.
Issue and maintain ECN from supplier and SCAR to suppliers.
Create and maintain parts numbers.
Support and work with Sales team, PM, NPI, engineers for special projects.
Work with production planner to expedite and parts, allocation to facilitate production congestion and urgent orders.
Assist with RMA issues with vendors.
Assist in resolving billing issues between Accounts Payable and Vendors.
Maintain and updating records, filing, faxing, etc. as required, for the purchasing dept.
Assist in verifying shipments from oversea.
Assist to evaluate top 20 supplier’s performance Semi-Annually.

  • College degree or equivalence.
  • Knowledge of company’s products in the PC industry.
  • Good communication skill.
  • Excellent working relationship with vendors.
  • Good customer service skill with internal customers.
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheets.
