Job PurposeA Project Accountant is responsible for all the accounting functions related to projects. They provide the necessary accounting support from the project costs and profitability estimates to the project implementation monitoring and control and the completed project profitability evaluation, they also provide support to the Financial Planning Officer in the financial planning and budgeting process, and analysis of financials relating to projects.Job Scope:

Provides costs and profitability projections of the projects.
Performs project contract review to identify risks and financial impact of various contract provisions
Monitors projects progress and ensure that the costs are within the approved budget.
Ensures that the accounting treatment for revenue and related costs and expenses is in accordance with established accounting policies and standards.
Ensures that projects are billed accurately and timely.
Provides periodic financial reports relating to projects including variance analysis
Provides support in the implementation and observance of controls, procedures, and policies, to protect the company’s resources & interests.
Provides support in Finance policy development and in the area of internal controls implementation and compliance, and process improvements.
Performs task and other duties that maybe assigned by his/her immediate supervisor from time to time.

Must be residing near Calamba, Laguna
College graduate with a degree in Finance, major in Accounting or equivalent
Business know-how preferably in Construction, Cement or Steel industry.
Minimum 3 years combined experience in Finance or Controlling, Projects Accounting, audit, internal controls, business process, financial planning and analysis and business partnering.
Able to travel to visit project sites on a regular basis.
