MAIN JOB PURPOSE:The Quality Analyst is a Focused and Continuous Quality Improvement specialist engaged to eliminate Quality and Food Safety related product incidents (Manufacturing D) and consumer / customer complaints. When an incident occurs, the Quality Engineer initiates the investigation, facilitates the accomplishment of the QEWO, conducts root cause analysis and recommends the necessary correction, corrective actions, process improvements and horizontally deploys the newly defined standard to other lines and assure the sustainability of implementation.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for tracking Key Performance Indicators of the site related to Quality and Consumer Safety.Leads the cross functional team composed of representatives from Production & Logistics, Engineering and Quality on the generation of QEWO and gathering of relevant data to support the investigation of product quality, consumer and customer complaints and food safety incidents.Develops training, guidance documents and visual controls on defined corrective actions and support horizontal deployment of improvements to other lines.Facilitates the regular conduct of the Quality Incident Review meeting and follows through on the agreed actions and status of execution.Identifies Quality Improvement and Quality related waste reduction projects and leads implementation of the identified improvement program.Develops the Quality Matrix as tool to manage the prioritization of Quality issues and problems of the site as well as the reactive, preventive, cost matrices and the FOM toolkit developed as tools for prioritization.Develops and executes the implementation of Quality Plan, HACCP Hazard Control Plan in the site as well as the 7 Steps of QC Problem Solving, QM and PPA for continual improvement.Conducts process capability studies and identifies areas for improvement which could translate to cost optimization and product quality enhancement.Conducts on-site verification of the flow process diagram and leads the Gemba to review actual implementation of process and controls on quality and food safety.QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:Graduate of Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Food Technology, or any Science course.Preferably Licensed Chemist / Chemical Engineer or Chem Tech can be acceptedGood people handling, coaching, and leadership skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Fundamental knowledge in Descriptive Data AnalyticsKnowledgeable in JavaScript and Python programming language -PreferredPresentation skills (well versed in MS Office and Power Apps)Working knowledge in WCM, TPM, HACCP and FSSC 22000Manufacturing experience in FMCGAbout UnileverUnilever is a multinational fast-moving consumer goods company with a World-Class Supply Chain recognized by several international bodies such as:Gartner “Supply Chain Top 25”: Masters categoryS&P Dow Jones “Sustainability Index”: Industry Leader in Personal CareOxfam “Behind the Brands” Scorecard: #1 Food & Beverage companyJoin our team because at Unilever, #WeAreMakers of A Better Business, A Better World, A Better YouUnilever is an organisation committed to equity, inclusion and diversity to drive our business results and create a better future, every day, for our diverse employees, global consumers, partners, and communities.
