Main Responsibilities: The Business Systems Analyst for the Application Operations Services is responsible in performing application support by practicing service management, business analysis and client relationship management. This is to meet the stakeholders needs; maintain system availability; and to improve the business operations. Duties and Responsibilities: Acts as subject matter expert of the application to identify areas for improvement enhancement on existing systems. Builds strong relationship with business stakeholders & users to understand system/user pain points and to cater stakeholder demands. Identify possible gaps in the end-to-end system/business processes which may lead to manual work and overhead, which may cause increase with overall turnaround time of business processes Performs root cause analysis and impact assessment on reported incidents and recurring issues Constantly communicates with different groups (application maintenance, project delivery, infrastructure, support groups) so reported incidents are resolved in a timely manner. Leads and manages application maintenance team in delivering the technical changes/fixes based on business rules and requirements. Able to influence business stakeholders on the on the recommended actions - such as immediate fixes; temporary workarounds; and/or long-term solution via production fixes, system enhancements or process changes. Assists in identifying proactive activities to manage key business and system events, campaigns and deadlines. Has background to incident management, problem management and service fulfillment to help in either meeting or in exceeding service level agreement targets. Able to formulate test execution strategy and identify all possible test scenarios to replicate known/new system bugs/issues. Provides post-implementation and production support for supported systems including analysis of production problems raised by business users. Shares application maintenance-related requirements and scope of work for upcoming enhancements; technical projects; or development of new system. Creates necessary documentation (manuals, system procedures) in support to both application and business needs. Has capability to facilitate change management by working with various groups to address issues and potential impact and/or benefits of the changes in the proposed system. Conducts business or functional training for the business community and technical team as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Management With 2-4 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst experience in IT. Programing is preferred but not required. Experience in insurance, finance and/or banking applications is preferred (e.g., business analysis of insurance administration systems, pre-need, mutual funds, trust system or finance system Strong analytical and problem solving skills Background in Digital solutions With service management experience Strong decision making skills Strong communication skills Strong stakeholder management skills Knowledgeable in JIRA and ServiceNow Knowledgeable in Agile methodology and SDLC Willing to work on a day-shift, 8AM to 5PM. Willing to work on a hybrid set-up at 5th Avenue, BGC, Taguig.
