- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the medical staff, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and patient-centered care.
- Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the hospital, including patient care, admissions, and discharge processes, to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
- Collaborate with department heads and medical staff to develop and implement clinical protocols, policies, and procedures to maintain quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead initiatives to enhance patient safety, quality improvement, and clinical outcomes through evidence-based practices and continuous monitoring of performance metrics.
- Coordinate with the hospital administration and support services to ensure seamless integration of clinical and administrative functions, optimizing resources and workflows.
- Serve as a liaison between the medical staff, administration, and governing board, communicating updates, addressing concerns, and facilitating collaboration to achieve organizational goals.
- Participate in recruitment, credentialing, and performance evaluation of medical staff members, ensuring that all practitioners meet licensure and accreditation requirements.
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance in the development and implementation of new programs, services, and technologies to meet the evolving needs of the community and enhance the hospital's competitiveness.
- Stay current with developments in healthcare policies, regulations, and best practices, and ensure compliance with local, national, and international standards.
- Represent the hospital in professional associations, community events, and collaborative partnerships to promote the hospital's mission, vision, and values.
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution; board certification in a specialty field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or administrative role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of healthcare management principles, clinical operations, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
- Proficiency in data analysis, quality improvement methodologies, and clinical informatics.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and make effective decisions under pressure.
- Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and ethical conduct.
- Valid medical license and registration to practice in the Philippines.
