Warehouse lead in the department is responsible to coordinate with the warehouse personnel/CFT related to the day-to-day activities and to monitor the activities. Fulfil the requirements needed in the workplace.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in all Biocon major strategic, planning and decision making for FG warehouse and consumable storage area (as applicable).
Develop and maintain an appropriate FG Warehouse organizational structure that supports the business needs (as applicable).
To set objectives and targets for the reporting personnel and to lead & motivate team members in order to achieve the set targets.
Review and appraise established consumables storage area and FG Warehouse department goals, objectives, and targets (as applicable).
Initiating and approving the recruitment as per HR policy and assigning JD to the employees (as applicable),
Supervising of development, retention, MIS planning & reporting and organizational functions & operations at SKUs of all FG Warehouse and consumable storage area in accordance with corporate budgetary objectives and personnel policies (as applicable).
Responsible to lead new projects and collaborating with cross functional team (as applicable).
Establish, Implement, and ensure safe working practices are followed throughout the functions & operations at SKUs of all FG Warehouse and consumable storage area (as applicable).
Delegate the roles and responsibilities in the department as applicable.
Prepare, review and approval of Costing and Budgeting for the department business needs such as SLA, CAPEX and OPEX (as applicable).
Adherence to cGMP, HR, IT and EHS norms, routine, non-routine activities and Good Documentation practices and other relevant trainings in FG warehouse and consumable storage area.
Supporting for receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of SFG & FG materials & consumable storage area as role defined in SAP system.
Authorized to review and Investigation of QMS such as deviation, change controls, audit response, CAPA, URS, RA, SOP and other QMS with relevant CFTs (as applicable).
Scheduling of monthly review meeting with FG warehouse and consumable team (as applicable).
Approval of user level access as role defined in SAP system.
Identification of training needs and training all departmental personnel as applicable.
Reviewing the progress/status and establishing EHS objectives, targets and management programs in the department.
Responsible for handling of internal / external audit, and CAPA implementation.
Reporting to next higher level on all non-conformities and implementation of corrective / preventive actions in specific areas of operation.
Review and approval of physical stock verification of SFG/FG & Consumables across the Biocon sites (as applicable).
Coordinate for clearing of non-moving, ageing material, disposal of rejected, and expired materials identified for destruction with CFTs in FG warehouse & consumable storage area.
Decision making for receipt, storing and accounting of sales / customer return products.
Ensuring all the new projects and process are executed as per agreed upon times lines and quality.
Interact and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, distributors.
Activities carried out in LMS, Trackwise, DMS and SAP shall be privileged as per the roles, defined in JD (as applicable).Educational QualificationsRequired Education Qualification: MSc.
